JDS Studio is the creative home where all of our ventures operate together under one roof.

Rather than being just one business, JDS Studio is the umbrella creative hub that houses our acting studio, nonprofit academy, production company, television and podcast productions, business education programs, and annual digital media festival.

Think of it as one connected creative ecosystem made up of several specialized ventures.

Each venture inside JDS Studio serves a different purpose and audience.

For example:

- JDS Actors Studio focuses on acting and confidence training

- JDS Creative Academy focuses on nonprofit arts education and workforce development

- DigiFest® focuses on digital media and creative competition

- JDS Video & Media Productions Inc. focuses on professional media production

- Arts Across America focuses on entrepreneurship and creative business development

While each venture has its own specialty, they all collaborate and operate together through the larger JDS Studio ecosystem.

JDS Studio itself is the umbrella creative studio and includes both nonprofit and for-profit ventures.

JDS Creative Academy is the nonprofit branch.

JDS Actors Studio and JDS Video & Media Productions Inc. are for-profit businesses.

Together, these ventures support educational opportunities, professional productions, workforce development, and creative entrepreneurship.

Many of our productions, classes, workshops, meetings, and creative programs operate from the JDS Studio space in Temecula, California.

Some programs are also offered virtually through online classes, Zoom coaching, livestreams, and digital productions.

One of the things that makes JDS Studio unique is that the ventures actively collaborate with one another.

Many people begin with little or no experience. Whether someone is stepping into acting for the first time, exploring filmmaking, learning media production, or building confidence, our programs are designed to support all levels of experience.

At its core, JDS Studio exists to help people grow through creativity, confidence, storytelling, media, education, and connection.

Our goal is not only to teach creative skills, but also to create opportunities, build confidence, develop community, and help people feel seen and empowered.

JDS Studio was founded by Diane Strand and co-founded by Scott Strand.

Together, they have spent years creating opportunities in visual, performing, and digital arts while mentoring creatives, entrepreneurs, performers, and workforce development participants across multiple industries.

Most organizations focus on only one area — education, acting, production, or entrepreneurship.

JDS Studio combines all of these elements into one collaborative creative ecosystem. Because our ventures work together, participants gain access to real-world productions, professional mentorship, industry collaboration, creative networking, and hands-on opportunities that extend beyond a traditional classroom setting.
